MISSONI X ADIDAS
Launching today, the Italian brand Missoni launched its collaboration with classic athleisure brand Adidas. This special collaboration, introduces performance shoes as well as someothing we might all expect from Missoni, clothing.
According to Tai Missoni´s daughter, Angela, sports has always been very important for the family, as the father of Missoni, Tai was a member of the olympics, where he’s introduced innovative peices for the sports world. Not to mention, but if you have ever seen a piece from Missoni, they’re focused on ease of use, comfortability and usability with a twist of fashion. Missoni, the Italian family company has always been known for interesting color blocking techniques, mixed with lines or chevron, making pieces unique and highly memorable. Not going to lie, but the Missoni, collaboration with Adidas performance shoes, looks much like 2015 Nike Flyknit sneakers (pictured here). I am one of those consumers that wouldn’t really complain because as the years have passed that was one of my favorite product launches by Nike.
In my personal opinion, I like these pieces as they’re timeless, and have a depth of field which flatters the body with its precisely located designs. I love how “trippy” this set looks, specially in the gym not only would it keep all eyes on you, but it will hypnotize anyone staring at it to closely, as the lines and design in this print may cause it to look as if it was moving.
